Very insightful! I work at an investment bank and since this is a highly regulated industry, I am cautiously optimistic about how AI will be used in my industry.

I am concerned about the potential impact on the individual’s creativity, imagination, critical thinking and analytical thinking.

Well said ... Absolutely so! .. I think symbolic AI would be a big part of the picture. We will need explicit mental models for representing knowledge, analogical indexing methods to retrieve situation dependent appropriate knowledge in real time and ability to efficiently reason over it. Thanks for this wonderful insights packed article!
